Dov Moran


A well-known technology entrepreneur, inventor and businessman, Mr. Dov Moran was founder and chairman of M-Systems and invented the Disk-On-Key (USB Flash Drive), the Disk-On-Chip and other similar devices. In 2006, M-Systems was sold to SanDisk for $1.6 billion.

Following the sale of M-Systems, Dov founded modu, whose modular phone concept patents and technology were sold to Google. Dov was also the chairman of Tower Semiconductor, a top-tier semiconductor developer and manufacturer, and successfully steered the struggling company towards profitability.

He established few more successful companies and is serving now as the managing partner of Grove Venture, a leading tech driven early stage Israeli Venture Capital fund.

In the course of his entrepreneurial work, Dov has filed more than 40 patents and helped to establish over ten companies. He holds a BSc from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and honorary doctorates from the Technion, Israel, and Moscow Technological University MIREA. He has received many awards, including the Eduard Rhein Award (considered the Nobel prize of technology).

Yariv Avisar


Mr. Yariv Avisar brings over 16 years of global business management and corporate strategic planning expertise - building strong, winning teams, scaling up organizations, and growing businesses globally. Yariv’s career has featured a history of leadership, go-to-market and corporate roles in M-Systems, Hewlett Packard’s Scitex division and SCR, where he was acting CEO. Yariv holds a BA in Business Administration and International Marketing from the Tel Aviv Business Management College.

Yiftah Ben Aharon


A gifted technology executive with vast experience in managing high-end initiatives, Mr. Yiftah Ben Aharon was previously the VP R&D of Sentigo Technologies and a software group manager in modu mobile. Prior to this, he served in Israel Defense Forces Intelligence as a group and project manager. Yiftah holds BSc and MSc (cum laude) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Prof. Itamar Raz


Prof. Itamar Raz is board-certified in Internal Medicine, full professor of Internal Medicine, and Head of the Diabetes Unit at Hadassah University Hospital. He is head of the Israeli National Council of Diabetes, a past president of the Israel Diabetes Association, and current President of D-Cure, a non-profit organization that promotes and funds Diabetes research in Israel.

Itamar leads several large international cardiovascular and renal outcome diabetes studies, edits or co-edits a number of prominent international diabetes-oriented journals, and has over 310 publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Avivit Cahn, MD


Dr. Avivit Cahn is a practicing endocrinologist and attending physician at Hadassah University Hospital’s Diabetes Unit in the Department of Endocrinology. She previously served as Head of the Maccabi Healthcare Services Diabetes and Diabetic Foot Clinic in Jerusalem. Her research interests include diabetes prevention and diabetic foot complications, and she is involved in projects utilizing digital health and big data to improve diabetes care. Avivit has led and participated in multiple clinical studies and is a member of the steering committee of the international DECLARE trial – a dapagliflozin cardiovascular outcome study.

Avivit has published over 50 original papers, reviews and book chapters on diabetes and its complications, and lectures in multiple national and international forums.

Eytan Roitman, MD


After specializing in internal medicine, Dr. Eytan Roitman MD founded Meir Medical Center’s Clinic for Diabetes Technology, in Kfar Saba, Israel, enabling patients to manage their condition with advanced treatment platforms. He also serves as Coordinator of Diabetes Care in the Endocrinology Department at Meir Medical Center; as practicing diabetologist at several Clalit healthcare clinics; and as head of the Type 1 Diabetes Clinic for Adults at the Diabetes Medical Center (DMC) in Tel Aviv, providing comprehensive solutions for patients.

Eytan graduated with honors from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary.

Oren Atiya, CPA


Mr. Oren Atiya brings broad experience in accounting and finance services to local and global companies. He served as CFO in several start-up companies in the high-tech and life-science sectors.

Oren brings to GlucoMe vast experience in financial management, budgeting and controlling, cash flow management, financial infrastructure development, accounting reporting and taxation. Oren was an Audit Manager at PwC Israel, where provided financing and accounting services to a variety of public, private and international companies.

Oren holds a BA in Accounting and Economics and is a member of the Israeli Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dovi Winberger


Mr. Dovi Winberger is an experienced algorithm developer who specializes in signal processing and software development. Prior to joining GlucoMe, he was CTO at Grove Ventures. Previously, Dovi was an assistant professor of statistics and computer programming at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. Dovi holds a BSc & MSc in Geo-Information from the Technion.

Ofer Asif


Mr. Ofer Asif brings with him 20 years of global sales, marketing and business management experience in hi-tech and software companies. He has vast international experience leading direct and indirect sales, B2B and B2B2C formations, and business development activities generating growth and strategic impact. Ofer has formerly held positions in Comverse (CMVT), QMarkets.Net and Optitex (acquired by EFI, EFII), and has served as a board member of Corporation. Ofer holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration and an MBA. 

Baruch Marganitt, MD


Dr. Baruch Marganitt is a seasoned public health professional and medical technology executive, with vast hands-on experience in leading biotech and medical device companies. Prior to joining GlucoMe, Baruch held senior leadership positions in a number of medical startups. Previously, he was Head of Technologies and Computing at the Assuta Medical Centers chain.

Baruch served in the Israel Defense Forces Medical Corps for 20 years, and retired with the rank of Colonel. During his service, he held senior positions including Chief Medical Officer of the Home Front Command, Commander of the IAF/IDF Aero-Medical Evacuation and Rescue Unit (669) and Founding Chief of the Trauma Branch at the IDF Surgeon General's headquarters. He holds an MD from the Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine and MPH from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

Amit Goren, PhD


Dr. Amit Goren has extensive experience in global regulatory affairs for medical devices, with particular focus on FDA and CE regulatory processes. In addition to his position at GlucoMe, Amit is a consultant for many small and medium-sized medical device companies.

Prior to joining Glucome as VP of Quality Assurance, Regulatory & Clinical Affairs in 2015, Amit held regulatory and clinical affairs management positions at InMode, Lumenis, and Enzymotec. He has a PhD in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

Eli Yarkoni


Eli Yarkoni is a skilled self-taught designer who specializes in human-computer interaction and User experience design. 
Prior to joining GlucoMe, he was senior UX/UI designer at Netcraft and had the honor of designing products for well-funded companies such as Dell EMC, Verint, IDI Insurance and startups such as Leadspace, Lawgeex, to name a few.

Menahem Lasser


Mr. Menahem Lasser is a technology executive with vast experience in many high-tech industry disciplines. Previously, he was VP for Future Technologies and innovation in SanDisk, VP R&D and VP Intellectual Property in M-Systems, CEO in Simtech Advanced Training and Simulation Systems, and Programs Manager in the Israeli Navy. Menahem holds a BSc EE (Suma cum laude) from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
